The Ten Commandments.

5 それにひれ伏してはならない。それに仕えてはならない。あなたの神、主であるわたしは、ねたむ神であるから、わたしを憎むものは、父の罪を子に報いて、三、四代に及ぼし、
6 わたしを愛し、わたしの戒めを守るものには、恵みを施して、千代に至るであろう。
7 あなたは、あなたの神、主の名を、みだりに唱えてはならない。主は、み名をみだりに唱えるものを、罰しないでは置かないであろう。
8 安息日を覚えて、これを聖とせよ。
9 六日のあいだ働いてあなたのすべてのわざをせよ。
10 七日目はあなたの神、主の安息であるから、なんのわざをもしてはならない。あなたもあなたのむすこ、娘、しもべ、はしため、家畜、またあなたの門のうちにいる他国の人もそうである。
11 主は六日のうちに、天と地と海と、その中のすべてのものを造って、七日目に休まれたからである。それで主は安息日を祝福して聖とされた。
12 あなたの父と母を敬え。これは、あなたの神、主が賜わる地で、あなたが長く生きるためである。
13 あなたは殺してはならない。
14 あなたは姦淫してはならない。
15 あなたは盗んではならない。
16 あなたは隣人について、偽証してはならない。
17 あなたは隣人の家をむさぼってはならない。隣人の妻、しもべ、はしため、牛、ろば、またすべて隣人のものをむさぼってはならない」。
18 民は皆、かみなりと、いなずまと、ラッパの音と、山の煙っているのとを見た。民は恐れおののき、遠く離れて立った。
19 彼らはモー?に言った、「あなたがわたしたちに語ってください。わたしたちは聞き従います。神がわたしたちに語られぬようにしてください。それでなければ、わたしたちは死ぬでしょう」。
20 モー?は民に言った、「恐れてはならない。神はあなたがたを試みるため、またその恐れをあなたがたの目の前において、あなたがたが罪を犯さないようにするために臨まれたのである」。
21 そこで、民は遠く離れて立ったが、モー?は神のおられる濃い雲に近づいて行った。
22 主はモー?に言われた、「あなたはイスラエルの人々にこう言いなさい、『あなたがたは、わたしが天からあなたがたと語るのを見た。
23 あなたがたはわたしと並べて、何をも造ってはならない。銀の神々も、金の神々も、あなたがたのために、造ってはならない。
24 あなたはわたしのために土の祭壇を築き、その上にあなたの§祭、酬恩祭、羊、牛をささげなければならない。わたしの名を覚えさせるすべての所で、わたしはあなたに臨んで、あなたを祝福するであろう。
25 あなたがもしわたしに石の祭壇を造るならば、切り石で築いてはならない。あなたがもし、のみをそれに当てるならば、それをけがすからである。
26 あなたは階段によって、わたしの祭壇に登ってはならない。あなたの隠し所が、その上にあらわれることのないようにするためである』。

4. "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work.
5. "Honor your father and your mother.
6. "You shall not murder.
7. "You shall not commit adultery.
8. "You shall not steal.
9. "You shall not lie about your neighbor.

A few truths about The God that Christians worship.
God--Just as an ant will never understand the Internet, finite humans will never understand God.
神 － 蟻がインターネットを理解できないように、限りある人間は神を理解できないだろう。
Just as a child with a teacup will never empty the ocean, we can never understand more than a tiny fraction of the amazing God who made the universe.
茶碗（スプーン？）を使っている子供が海を空っぽにできないように、私たちが宇宙を創られた素晴しい神のごく一部を超えて理解することはできないだろう。
Tonight we only have time for a few basic truths about God:
今夜、私たちは神に関する基本的な真実のための（基本的な真実を知るための？）時間しかありません。
God is unique, perfect, limitless, and He is always loving.
神は唯一、完全無欠、無限 そして愛に満ち溢れている。
Unique -- There is one God.
唯一
唯一の神が存在する。
Only one God can be the infinitely powerful Creator of all Heaven and Earth.
唯一の神のみが、天と地の無限に強力な創造主なのである。
Only one God reaches out in love to connect with humans.
唯一の神のみが人間と結び付ける愛に手を差し伸べられる。
Worship of anything else misses the point.
他への崇拝は的外れである。
Everything else that man worships is either made by this unique Creator God, or it is imaginary.
人間が崇拝するすべてのものは、唯一の創造主が創られたものか、または架空のものである。
Worship of anything else is considered idol worship by THE ONE GOD.
他への崇拝は、唯一の神により偶像崇拝者とみなされる。
Perfect -- No mistakes, no weaknesses.
完全無欠 － 間違いを犯さず、欠点もない。
The unique Creator God is completely perfect in his character, his righteousness, and his love.
唯一の創造主は、性格、正義、愛に完全無欠である。
He does not have bad days or get sick.
神に悪い日はなく、病気にならない。
He does not have moods, or get old.
神は気分にむらがなく、老いることがない。
Limitless -- Unlike humans, God has no limits.
無限 －
人間のように、神は有限ではない。
His power is completely limitless.
神の力は完全に無限である。
He can do whatever he wants.
神は望むことを何でも可能にされる。
He spoke and the worlds were created.
神は話され、世界は創造された。
He raised Jesus from the dead.
神はキリストを死から蘇らせた。
He did many other miracles in human history.
神は人間の歴史上多くの奇跡を起こされた。
His knowledge and wisdom are limitless.
神の知識と英知は無限である。
God knows everything.
神は何もかもご存知だ。
Before you were born, he knew how many hairs you would have at each moment of your life.
あなたが誕生するまえ、あなたの人生の瞬間ごとの髪の毛の本数さえ神はご存じだった。
He knows your thoughts and feelings now.

And he still loves you.

This is too amazing for us to understand.

His presence is without limit.

Humans have a physical body which limits our presence.

God can choose to be anywhere in the universe.

In fact, his presence fills the universe at all times.

God is not limited by time.

He never gets in a rush, or gets too busy.

He does not get older.

He knows the past as well as the present.

God's Love may be the most amazing thing about him.
神の愛は神に関してもっとも驚くべきものであるかもしれない。
God's love extends to all of the guilty human race.
神の愛は罪を犯した人類すべてに行き渡っている。
He loves you and me enough to send his own innocent son to die for us guilty humans and pay the price for our sins.

Before the Beginning
God loved you before the world began, and he even had a present to give you.
Paul wrote to Timothy in the first century AD.
Paul’s 2nd letter to Timothy
8 So do not be ashamed to tell people about our Lord Jesus, and do not be ashamed of me, in prison for the Lord. But suffer with me for the Good News. God, who gives us the strength to do that,9 saved us and made us his holy people. That was not because of anything we did ourselves but because of God's purpose and grace. That grace was given to us through Christ Jesus before time began,10 but it is now shown to us by the coming of our Savior Christ Jesus. He destroyed death, and through the Good News he showed us the way to have life that cannot be destroyed.11 I was chosen to tell that Good News and to be an apostle and a teacher.12 I am suffering now because I tell the Good News, but I am not ashamed, because I know Jesus, the One in whom I have believed. And I am sure he is able to protect what he has trusted me with until that day.[b]13 Follow the pattern of true teachings that you heard from me in faith and love, which are in Christ Jesus.14 Protect the truth that you were given; protect it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.
